GENERAL COURT MARTIAL SITTING IN KASESE

The General court martial sitting at Rwenzori square in Kasese town, Kasese district yetarday have dropped the Principle suspect Lance Corporal Bwambale Robinson from the charge sheet until he gets better.
This comes after the defensive lawyers had previously advised the prosecution to either avail the principal suspect Corporal Robinson Bwambale before Court or they refer the matter to Constitutional Court to help them interpret the law. 


The state prosecutor Capt. Fredrick Kangwamo asked court to drop the Prime suspect Corporal Robinson Bwambale and two others from the charge sheet until Robinson gets better.
He told court that Lance Corporal Bwambale Robinson is still sick and hospitalized. Others whose names have been dropped from the charge sheet for allegedly accepting to be offered amnesty includes Mberemu Elisha and Balikurungi Joshua.


Court presided over by the Chairperson of the General court martial Maj. General Levy Karuhanga accepted to drop the principal suspect, Corporal Robinson Bwambale from the charge sheet and proceeded to take plea from the suspects.
Maj. General Levy Karuhanga preferred plea of not guilty against the ten suspects who took plea, and adjourned court till August 23rd to here plea from the remaining forty four other suspects. 

However, all the ten suspects who took plea denied the two charges against them (murder and attempted murder).

The Rwenzururu Premier Rt. Hon Noah Nzaghale and the Minister for Native administration Hon. Yolamu Mulima who all appeared before court will remain on bail.
