Two people killed by lighting.

Kasese: two people have been killed by lightening and there body remains  have been laid to rest at their ancestral home in Rwabitooke village in Kibiri parish Muhokya sub-county in Kasese district.
The incident killed two people and injured other two including a two months old baby girl and her sibling who are admitted at Kilembe Mines Hospital.
Preaching the mourners who thronged the home, the Parish Priest, Uganda Martyrs Kakone parish, the Rev. Fr. Job Syathamira said that although people have been dying, the remaining ones do not believe that death was a normal thing.
He asked everyone to always be ready for death and remain calm whenever a person dies.
The deceased identified as Pesi Mwahulhwa Muhindo 33 and her daughter Brenda Muhindo aged 16 all died instantly when the incident struck the house they were staying in as it was heavily raining at 3:30 pm.
Muhindo was a student at Bishop Egidio secondary school in Kibiri village and they were family members of Phillip Monday, a son to Francis Makwano the entire same village.
Wesley Kananga a former teacher of Muhindo at Ighanza primary school said that the deceased had been a very committed student who had wanted to been an Engineer and Nurse.
Sam Ngwirakaye who rushed at the scene told this reporter that lightening first struck Pesi before her daughter also died.
The area LC 1 chairperson, Eric Kule Mutanywana asked the residents in the area to intensive tree planting which he said would act as wind breakers.
