Pope Francis has accepted reitrement of Rt. Rev. Egidio Nkaijanabwo the Bishop of Kasese Diocese. In a letter dated 2nd April 2014, the office of the Apostolic Nucio to Uganda delivered a letter from Pope Francis. The Holy Father also appoints Rev. Msgr. Francis Aquirinus Kibira the Rector of St. Paul Major Seminary Kinyamasika in Fortportal as the new Bishop of Kasese. The news was delivered by Bishop Egidio through the Vicar General Rev.Msgr. Landas Bwambale as he presided over Chrism mass today in Kasese Cahtedral. This same massage was officially published today in Vatican at 1.00PM.
